Organic tomatoes in the greenhouse: IoT and Big Data

Precision agriculture comes into the greenhouse. Auroras has created an integrated platform of wireless sensors to control and improve the soilless production of organic tomatoes.

Specifically, the Auroras IoT + Big Data system has the purpose of:

  • measure the amount of fertilizer placed in the rows of tomato, and the amount of fertilizer drained from the rows themselves.
  • identify the conditions conducive to the occurrence of late blight of tomato.
  • allow agronomists to remotely access the data (Big Data).
